Never Summer’s reputation for quality and durability began in the early years of snowboarding. Designing and building snowboards since 1983 has given them years of experience in testing and perfecting their designs and construction methods. Never Summer have now applied this snowboard knowledge and experience to the creation of an exciting range of handcrafted longboards, made with the same high quality and attention to detail.

These longboards are built in their Denver, Colorado factory using the same snowboard construction methods found in their award winning range of snowboards. These really are amazing pieces of work - own one and you will not regret it. 

All boards include the following quality features:

P-TEX TIP AND TAIL BUMPERS

Exclusive Polyethylene tip and tail bumpers protect the boards from high speed impact and help to reduce damage to the wood and composite laminates. These bumpers dramatically improve durability and extend the life of your NS Longboard.

STS/SK8

Exclusive STS/SK8 fiberglass is used in all NS Longboards. This pre-hardened, pre-tensioned, layered laminate is the world's best fiberglass and only Never Summer has it.

Flight Core/SK8

Utilising an in-house wood working facility, NS manufacture a vertically laminated aspen core for their longer models. Borrowing from proven core technology used in their snowboards they have adapted their flight core characteristics to make a solid and responsive platform for longboards.

Bi-Lite/SK8

The Bi-Lite/SK8 is a very snappy and light fiberglass that adds strength and response to the decks.

Hard Rock Maple

Themaple veneers are supplied by Great Lakes Veneer. These hard maple laminates are engineered for NS to exacting specifications including quality, thickness and moisture content.

Rubber Damping is utilised across the range of boards to absorb vibrations from the trucks to offer a smooth and stable ride and reduce high speed wobbles.

AEND URETHANE

All NS wheels are manufactured by premier urethane provider Aend Industries. Aend is considered the best wheel manufacturer in longboarding. The exclusive chemistries provide the ultimate in grip and durability. Aend Urethane features an abrasion rating of 90/100 and an 85% rebound. All wheels feature a precision bearing press fit core and super high impact polyurethane. The retro style 72mm wheels are the ideal for high speed grip and performance. They come in a 78a durometer and will hold the road without wearing out or getting flat spots. NS's 64mm wheels come in a 81a.

All NS Longboards will utilise custom NS Hardware and Risers.

SKATE TECHNOLOGY

NS abec 5 bearings, manufactured by Skate Technology, are specifically designed to be the best skate bearing ever. The speed and durability of these bearings far exceed any other abec 5 bearing on the market.

RANDAL TRUCKS

Randal II - The Randal II Trucks are longboard specific trucks. Featuring unique geometry to improve turning radius and stability at speed, the Randal II has a 50mm kingpin and reversed hanger. These high end longboard trucks are available in 150mm and 180mm width.
